Coronavirus: ‘I’ve not seen a GP face-to-face since before the pandemic’

Ministers say GP practices in England should provide face-to-face appointments to sufferers who need them, alongside presents of phone and video consultations.

Figures present 57% of appointments had been in individual in July, nicely beneath the 80% seen before the pandemic.

The Royal College of GPs mentioned it’s involved about a rising public notion that distant consultations are “substandard” in contrast with seeing a GP in the surgical procedure.
