Covid: Horse therapy for NHS nurse is ‘magical’

A horse therapy centre has been serving to frontline NHS employees get better from the trauma of caring for coronavirus sufferers in the course of the pandemic.

Equine centre The Way of the Horse runs Project Pony in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

Intensive care sister Amanda White, who misplaced her 24-year-old nephew to the virus whereas caring for a whole lot of sufferers in wards, described the time she spent with the horses as “magical”.

“They’re excellent at serving to you to learn your self, to reset your self… to maneuver ahead in a relaxed and compassionate method,” she stated.
