Long Covid forces Norfolk nurse of 25 years to quit beloved job

A former nurse mentioned Covid-19 had left her with badly-damaged lungs, a doable coronary heart situation and compelled her to change jobs.

Kathryn Crofts, 48, labored at a hospital in Norfolk throughout the pandemic and ended up with pneumonia when she caught the virus.

She mentioned: “After 25 years doing a job that I’ve completely liked, I’ve had to change jobs. It’s left me fairly upset.”

She has been supported by a counselling service devoted to NHS employees.
