Suffolk boy’s first walk to school after spine operation

A nine-year-old boy with cerebral palsy has achieved his dream of strolling to school for the first time.

Bryson, from Newmarket in Suffolk, had an operation on his spine in February and has been coaching ever since.

With a little bit assist, he was in a position to walk the half-mile (800m) journey and was cheered by classmates as he arrived on the school gates.

He mentioned: “I’m feeling nice. I feel it is wonderful. They put plenty of effort into it. I actually like this school.”
