Tesla hiring engineers to test ‘humanoid’ robots in Texas

Heads up, Texas. If you ever wished to be on the forefront of igniting the robotic revolution, here is your likelihood.

Tesla Inc. is searching for a test engineer to work in Austin as a part of the Tesla Mobile Robotics group to assist construct and design “humanoid bi-pedal robots,” in accordance to a latest job posting.

If you are unfamiliar, Tesla CEO and self-owning meme poster Elon Musk unveiled the Tesla bot in August. The robotic would use the identical synthetic intelligence discovered in Tesla’s self-driving autos. We all know how well Tesla’s autopilot options are doing.

The job posting says the test engineer will “develop test processes, information infrastructure, test gear and automatic test scripts” to assist additional robotics manufacturing.

“Your job is to determine how these merchandise might fail and to collaborate with design companions to drive adjustments,” the posting says.

The job is a chance for mechanical or laptop engineers to step into an bold discipline, and solely requires its candidate to have a both a bachelor’s or grasp’s diploma in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or laptop engineering.
