The new surgical tool inspired by a wasp

Scientists within the Netherlands have mimicked the way in which parasitoid wasps lay eggs to design a new tool for keyhole surgical procedure. Currently instruments utilized in these procedures are liable to clogging as a result of they use suction. The new machine avoids this by utilizing friction.

The workforce, at Delft University of Technology, have a working prototype and hope the tool will probably be prepared inside a few years.
