A girl who broke her hip whereas roller-skating on the age of 12, forcing her to desert her dream of enjoying soccer, has mentioned she cried when she discovered she had a spot on the GB girls’s wheelchair basketball staff on the Paralympics.
Lucy Robinson, from Mountsorrel in Leicestershire, mentioned: “None of us anticipated it and I simply began crying.”
